The short version
- We don’t use advertising or tracking cookies on this site.
- We save two small choices in your browser (your departure airport and currency) so you don’t have to pick them again.
- When you click through to a provider, they may set their own cookies to record that you came from us.
1. What cookies are
Cookies and similar technologies, such as your browser’s local storage, are small pieces of information a website saves on your device. Some are needed for a site to work; others remember your choices or track what you do.
2. What we save on your device

These are only saved when you make that choice, stay in your own browser and are never sent to us or anyone else. Because they only remember something you asked for, they don’t need your consent. Our website system may also set a short-lived technical cookie that it needs to work.
3. Other companies’ content on our pages
Some parts of our pages come from other companies, who may receive your IP address and may set their own cookies under their own policies:
- Destination photos from Pexels
- Fonts from Google Fonts
- The map of places to stay in your plan, from Stay22
- The flight search on flights.tripplaninsider.com, run by Travelpayouts, which shows its own cookie notice
4. When you click through to a provider
When you follow a link to a booking site, tour seller, rail or car hire company, insurer or flight search, that company may set a cookie on its own website to record that you came from TripPlanInsider. This is how we may earn a commission if you book. These cookies are set by the provider, on their site, under their cookie policy.
5. Managing cookies
You can clear or block cookies and saved site data in your browser settings at any time. Clearing them here just means we’ll ask for your departure airport again. Blocking cookies on providers’ sites may stop them recording that you came from us, but it won’t affect your booking.
6. Changes and contact
